Nicodemus
I just found out about this...
"6-count Non-stick Donut Pan"

Baked doughnuts? In a pan? And spelled "donut"?

This has to be cheating. It just has to be.

And some meta humor:

Ooo.. now that could be something to investigate. I'm a big fan of cutting oil out where it's not required (cheesecake, of course, is not under question: it is, and always shall be, the official food of the dark side =:9), and that seems like an intriguing assistant. my big project, when I move, will be to create a healthy carrot cake. I'm not sure how, but I'll manage, one way or another. I dare say it won't be something to chow down on for breakfast and dinner, but I'd love to create something tasty that isn't purely moist through oils.

Shall I admit to having taken a couple seconds to get the strip? Oh well. ^_^

I recommend some oil for texture but you can make good use of applesauce for moistness.

I would think the ones you bake would be the doughnuts, and the ones you dip in oil are donuts. Somebody's driving on the parkway again!

Non-stick pans for doughnuts? Wow. It's like, killing you heart arteries AND household pets all in one go.
