100 Worst Movies Quiz [Oct. 28th, 2005|12:43 pm]
Nicodemus
Because I know you're all just shivering with anticipation to see which horrid movies I've watched...

I don't agree with this list, entirely. But I have seen a lot of their "worst" ones. MST3K would be a big factor there. Plus a love of B movies in general (e.g. Hercules in New York). Anyhow.

curious that showgirls isn't on the list, but i think that IMDB is biased by the recent past. (though to be fair some truly horrid movies have come out in the recent past. i should know. i distribute them.)

And MK: Annihiliation is actually fun with MST3K friend who are slightly altered. I actually paid to see that one in a theatre, and upon determining in the first 30 seconds that it sucked (big warning sign: the had to kill doubles of all the original cast members because the actors didn't think it was worth coming back) i made an inappropriate comment and got huge laughs. My companions and i proceeded to misty it and got a huge applause at the end. :)

This is certainly one I'd like to see. Saw, and liked, the first MK for it's lovable cheeziness.

as did I, which made the disappointment that was MK:A that much more bitter. so be warned - it's not, i think, bad enough for bottom 100 of all time status, but it is definitely a few steps down from the original.

And Burn Hollywood Burn was a very funny movie! Anyone who liked Spinal Tap or A Mighty Wind will probably really like it, especially if they have any knowledge of or interest in the way Hollywood does business.

37!

That is the total number of these films that I have completed (there are at least 10 more than I've seen chunks of, over followed by blowing them)

I've seen 7 of those movies, The master of disguise, which I loved, The avengers which was ... eh; Superman IV, which was the worse Superman movie IMHO, Speed 2, which ... was no masterpiece, but I dont think it's bottom 100 material; Pokemon the first movie (no comments), Kangaroo Jack, which sucks but has a cute Kangaroo and Batman & Robin, which wasn't /that/ bad

Leprechaun wa a great flick! and so was Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was suppose to be somewhat of a satire. I mean come on, steave martin singing Maxwell's silver hammer? that was great. And I about freaked when I saw Rollerball on the list till I saw it was the 2002 version (yuck)

Why isnt The Passion of The Christ on the list.

Why isnt The Passion of The Christ on the list.

Because it actually grossed more than twice as much as F9/11 did at the box office. Think about that next time you're trying to go to sleep at night. u_u

Some of them don't deserve to be on the list IMHO - the Captain America flick was amusing - and not too bad; same with Mortal Kombat Annihilation, Double Dragon or Barb Wire. They were vaguely entertaining.

Highlander 2 -so- deserves to be on that list, tho

[and I can believes I've seen 32 of them]

Good Lord... not only have I seen 41 of those movies, but I saw 16 of them in the theater (including Jaws 3-D, in chilling 3-D!). Fortunately, most of the ones on that list that I haven't seen are movies you couldn't pay me to watch. I mean, seriously... From Justin to Kelly? Glitter? Those aren't movies, those are crimes against humanity.

Also, I saw House of the Dead not just in the theater, but at the American premiere in San Francisco, with Uwe Boll and Clint Howard in attendance. Do I get bonus points, or at least punitive damages?

Uwe Boll is fast becoming the director to hate and he's making "Duegon Siege"....oh dear gods help us.

Don't some of these people read the scripts? I mean, for gods sake SupermanIV?

What where you thinking?

I've seen 41 as well. What am I doing wrong in my life?

I not only paid good money to see Barb Wire, I drove 100 miles to see it. I don't even want to begin with how bad Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever was. Made Master of Disguise look like Casablanca by comaprison.

Can someone explain why none of Yahoo Serious' movies aren't on the list? Are the Aussies fixing the vote?

I would only force movies on this list upon you if they were the MST3K versions. I have some mercy!
