News or Not? [Sep. 27th, 2006|12:59 pm]
Nicodemus
Presenting another edition of "News or Not?" Most of the following are real news stories, but I threw a few fictitious items into the list and tried to camouflage them. Before clicking the links, can you tell the decoys apart?

You know, I bet eBay uses that news as the grounds for an ad campaign; "So easy to use, even a Toddler can use it."

I know #4 is true, because I saw it.

I read about #5 and #7 on MSN.com.

#6 is half-true: the billboards exist, but they're ads for a TV show.

I believe #1 and #2 are real, and #3 is fake.

How'd I do?

#3 is too sensible to be true.

We have known for years that the daily show is the best place to get accurate perspectives on topics. :)
