|Vista vs OS X

The differences are clear!|
[NY Times video link] Humorous bit having some fun with superficial comparisons. (Sad thing is, I've read "tech" articles on about this level that were intended to be serious.)
Sorry... No idea why it isn't working for you. It should be David Pogue's technology commentary.
They forgot the clearest difference:
Vista requires you to phone Microsoft if you ever want to reinstall it. Also it requires vastly more graphics horsepower.

No matter how awesome Vista may turn out, even if it ends up being the best OS EVER, it'll still get knocked simply because its a Microsoft product.
and to correct richpizor there: You can reinstall it all you want. You can swap it between 3 computers all you want.
Thats the other problem with Vista...rampant spreading of uninformed misinformation.
Call me a fanboy but until OSX supports the applications i use, im stuck with Vista. And not complaining one bit ;)
Though I'm not a big MS fan these days, I do agree that bashing it just because it's MS is silly. (Same for overly superficial comparisons, hence the post! :)
I think that there will probably be plenty of legitimate reasons to dislike Vista (as there are legitimate reasons to dislike OS X). I also think it's still too early to tell what the really big ones are going to be.
Personally, I'm happier using OS X these days. I do miss some applications but I really like having a bash shell and cleaner file system.
I'm disappointed the mac encrypted filesystem (filevault) doesn't work particularly well. It never reclaims freed space except on user logout, which happens fairly rarely for most mac users. :>
So, thats the guy who wrote a couple books on OS X that I own? hehe :P
I guess time will tell how secure it is compared with XP.
In the meantime, I'll stick with OS X for most of my computin'
