[Current Mood |a tad silly]

Since you obviously can compare apples and oranges pretty easily, I suggest the new aphorism be "like apples and minigolf". Thank you.

The problem is there's no central authority you can submit the patch to. And even if there was, hardly anyone would bother downloading the update. Reference my difficulties in getting accepted my suggestion that the plural of ibis should be ibi. I have had marginally more success with the word "roophilia" but it still hasn't entered the wider lexicon.

Yeah, english is pretty well forked.

(I like "ibi", though!)

See, the benefit of that is that when they fly around, they can earn "ibi points"!

*snorts*

I'd suggest comparing elephants to lemons. You do know what the difference is between an elephant, a lemon, and a tube of glue, don't you?

Two of them can be made into refreshing drinks but the other one just clogs up the blender?

You can squeeze a lemon, but you can't squeeze an elephant.

You CAN squeeze an elephant, but they squeeze back.
