Update [Feb. 14th, 2008|10:37 pm]
Nicodemus
Just thought I'd make a quick post to say that I'm still around, just really really busy at the moment.

Got back from a rat-tastic FC (that's me as Remy). Then work promptly exploded; I've been running around since trying to catch up with everything. There's been a little fun work but it has been vastly outmatched by the ugly, unpleasant variety of work.

Then there's the teething nine-month-old, which doesn't help on the sleep front. (Bless my wife, who deals with most of it.) Both of his lower incisors are coming in.

Did manage to have some friends over (kevinjdog, orv, and bluerain) for a nice evening and a wickedly bad movie.

It's been busy. I seem to be getting back to the point that I have a little time to sit down and work on other stuff. Might actually read and catch up on email again. :P

Oh my god. The little Linguini under your chef's hat is hilarious!

Thanks. I was trying to think of some interesting presentation idea for him. :)

A lovely Remy, certainly, but I still have such a soft spot for Widge. ^_^ Very cute idea for a photo, though it'd be nice to see less traditional backgrounds, or perhaps just ones more easily post-processed. Then again, photography in SL does offer advantages, notably in such delightfully easy control of lighting - change the time of day if you'd like, or assume weirdly wonderful, dramatic camera angles as the mood and subject suggest.

As for weird and wonderful movies, one you might enjoy sometime (needless to say, I haven't yet got around to watching it) is Ski Jumping Pairs, a spoof documentary on a new Olympic sport.

Thanks. Widge is still special to me, too, being my first suit. Still got him stored away though he's no longer in wearable shape.

The ski jumping thing looks wonderfully silly. I'll have to look that one up!

Nic, thank you so much for surprising me like that! It was one of the highlights of the con for me.
