Speaking of storytelling, I got about 1400 words written this weekend and reviewed another half chapter. Getting closer to a complete draft... At this point, I'm adding bits in chapters three and five to properly build up to what happens later. Plus adding some necessary setting details and removing what I'll kindly call "crap that I wrote in a hurry". Then, I'll be able to say that I have a cohesive (though still in need of much revision) draft.
Otherwise, the weekend was dedicated to finally finishing Sly Cooper 3. Fun! Hard to say whether I liked 2 or 3 best out of the series. I think the design of the levels and challenges in 2 was better (I prefer the stealthy platforming core gameplay over the profusion of new minigames in 3) but the storyline and characters (and villains!) in 3 was superior.
Great games, all, and packed with 'coony goodness! :> (Gotta make some LJ icons!)
