Sly: Devious Grin

Word Chain Puzzles

Instructions

Word chains are lists of words where each pair can be read together, forming either a phrase, name, or compound word (e.g. "raincoat" from "rain", "coat"). Each link is a single word on its own (no "ful" or "ism" entries) of at least three letters.

I've provided the endpoints of each chain. Can you fill in the intervening links? Note that the whimsical titles have no bearing on anything. For most I've given you the initial letter and indicated missing letters with hyphens... but on the last challenges you only know the lengths of the words!

Example:

PUGET
S----
G-----
GNOME

Answer: Puget Sound Garden Gnome
