Chinese Cooking Tonight

Had some fun doing Chinese cooking tonight!


Duck and rice in garlic hoisin sauce with lettuce cups.

We smoked and roasted some duck last week. Now I get to make use of the leftovers. :D Sliced into slivers and tossed with rice and diced veggies. It went into a sauce of minced garlic, chili, vinegar, sugar, broth, and hoisin that had been cooked down so it got thick. I was really pleased with how this turned out. (It's reminiscent of Ants Climbing Tree except using rice instead of thread noodles.)
