Sure! I don't have copies of all of the ones I marked but I do have a decent collection.

Wow, you really haven't seen The Wizard of Oz? That's...surprising. Or maybe I just watched it more than most, as a kid.

Those flying monkeys were scary!

Well, to be totally honest, I should've highlighted one letter of it. I've seen just bits of it and, really, it doesn't look like the sort of movie I'd like.

It's fun to watch the Seven Samurai and the Magnificent Seven back to back. The differences and what they imply about the cultures is illuminating. And you really must watch the Sixth Sense one of these days. You know Kit likes to make us watch a depressing movie every time she comes down. Maybe we should rent Sixth Sense and Donnie Darko and watch them on New Year's Eve.

Cool. Donnie Darko has been recommended to me several times and it's definitely on the "To See" movie list.

What he doesn't know is that a Sixth Sense DVD actually lives a mere ten feet below where he sleeps, so we can probably get that one out of the way before New Years. Ditto Annie Hall for much the same reason. Maybe we should post this list as a grid so we can see which movies none of us have seen, or some of us have seen, or something. Granted if we did that, then I'd feel compelled to notate my desire for future viewings of ones I've already seen (I'd see Shawshank or Princess Bride again in a heartbeat; Apocalypse Now need never cross my eyes a second time), and interest in seeing those I haven't. Maybe I'll do that whenever I get around to sheeping that meme.

Having been in the pit for Wizard of Oz, I can honestly say I never want to see or hear it again. You really need to see Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. IF you like it I have an extra copy. And did you only watch half of Psycho, Metropolis, and Reservoir Dogs, or am I reading way too much in to the bolding as a code?

Yep, that's what the half-bold means. I figured it'd be the best way to express that. It's movies that I've seen significant portions of yet never the whole thing. (Psycho I actually started watching and turned off. Though I like some Hitchcock, that one wasn't for me.)

On the Waterfront and The Searchers are definitely worthwhile if for no other reason than to reassure us all that the 50's really were more than just Leave it to Beaver and I Love Lucy...
