Lunch Line Lunacy [Jan. 9th, 2004|12:29 pm]
Inspired by some discussion in the cafeteria line about my sandwich order... What do YOU think?

Poll #230939 Strange Sandwich

Tuna Melt, add Bacon

Bacon? With tuna? Isn't that outlawed by the Geneva Convention?
Dude, that's weird... But I'm kinda curious, now.
Everything is better with bacon! Except, maybe, ice cream.

I don't like tuna.

However, if you remove the tuna and add bacon, I'd love it.

"I thought frozen yogurt had bacon bits in it. Turns out it doesn't."

I'd use turkey bacon, if I were going to go there myself, but really, I figure once you've gone and made the Tuna hot, all the rules go out the window anyway.

My "raised eyebrow" sandwich is peanut-butter with turkey, and perhaps some avocado.

Tuna does not belong on sandwiches, it belongs in nigiri with a dollop of raw garlic. In a pinch, seared (outside only) on a salad. Otherwise there is far too great a risk of getting something canned and inedible, which even bacon glorious bacon can't save.

Is it kind to taunt the snowed in girl with thoughts of sushi? Hell, the tuna melt is sounding good. But not with bacon. That would be wrong.

People raise their brows when I order my favorite egg salad with sliced olives. You'd be surprised though.

I can't eat bacon. And even when I could, I didn't. Something to do with warm bacon grease. You probably would be better off not knowing. :)
