Categories Quiz: RATS! [Jul. 22nd, 2012|10:38 pm]
In a game of categories, each question provides a general category. You then see if you can name an item in that category that starts with the given letters. This time around, our letters are R-A-T-S. :)

Since it's not a single-answer quiz, anyone can be correct by finding their own examples. I've included mine below, hidden behind a link; take a try at it yourself first, though. Feel free to share yours in the comments!

0. Colors - Red, Aqua, Tan, Scarlet

3. Dog Breeds
4. Fruits

That's the fun part. :) This sort of quiz can easily be solved by googling of finding Wikipedia "list of" pages.

Come on! It's so right there. I mean, how could you forget about your favorite rodents and mine, the popular and well-loved spiny rats? :D

Mmm, interesting!

  1. Rhode Island, Alabama, Tennessee, South Dakota
  2. I'm not familiar enough with US state capitals for this one. :)
  3. Rhodesian Ridgeback, Alsatian, Toy Poodle, Shiba Inu
  4. Redcurrant, Apple, Tangerine, Strawberry
  5. Red cabbage, Aubergine (Asparagus if that doesn't count), Tomato, Salad
  6. ..., Amrum, Tasmania, Sylt
  7. Rubidium, Aluminium, Technetium, Sulphur
  8. Rosemary, Allspice, Thyme, Salt
  9. Romania, Austria, ..., Sweden
  10. Rhine, Amazon, ..., Schwentine
  11. Rat, ..., ..., Squirrel

Hmm, I seem to be lacking in the geography department — although I'm pretty sure there's no European country starting with a "T" (unless you include Turkey). I was tempted to just write "Rhode Island" again for an island starting with an "R", too, but it's not actually one, is it?

I also don't really know too many rodent species.
