Successful Launch! [Oct. 7th, 2012|07:45 pm]
Nicodemus

Congrats SpaceX! Falcon9 flew beautifully and delivered Dragon to orbit.

Over the next few days, it will adjust its orbit to match the ISS. It will approach in stages until it gets within about 30 feet where the ISS crew will grapple it with the arm.

Launch was so cool, I love that they have so many cameras in cool locations on the ship itself!

Yes, they have some fun ones, especially when you get to the stage separation.

I was one of the better night launches that I've seen since the Shuttle has gone away. It lit up the sky quite a bit. Especially considering it didn't have any solid boosters. I'm hoping that SpaceX will finally start living up to the schedules they keep posting now.
