just like i think it's evil to eat duck (since i am one!) it's just as evil to eat a rat!!!! *stomp pout* how can someone eat thumper, bambi, nicodemus, or donald??? seriously. *shudder* i'm going to go hide in the corner.. that last article scared me.

So, we Have mad cow disease in beef, PCBs in fish, and Bird Flu in chicken. Pesticides on plants... Hormones in Everything else...

That's disheartening and sad. I mean, I know that most people don't tend to think of rats when they first are asked to name 10 common housepets, but, still... I suspect that most people would feel less bad about eating a rat than about eating a cat or a dog. I, however, could never eat a rat unless I were starving. Or threatened with my life if I didn't.

I cannot imagine Martin or Matthias as dinner - they are such sweet things...
