Truck Spills [Jun. 16th, 2004|12:29 pm]
[Current Mood |safety-conscious]

The official designation for "worst truck cargo to have in an accident" has been upgraded from glue to live bees. Citizens are reminded to drive carefully when hauling such cargos. That is all.

Man... talk about buzzword bingo.

Actually, my vote for the worst cargo (other than flaming oil and chickens) has to be from a couple of months ago, where they dumped 10,000 gallons of ice cream on the highway. Shut things down for over 16 hours.

I don't know, I would prefer bees to the basic heximethalbadshit that gets spilled sometimes. There was a train wreck about thirty years ago that spilled a whole tanker car of molasses. My granddad took pictures of one of the tanks that didn't spill before the wrecker crews got to it and then after. Ya know, when the Santa Fe railroad wants theirs tracks cleared they ain't delicate about it.
