Morning numbers [Oct. 19th, 2004|10:28 am]
It's the first big storm of the season. Two surprising numbers:

Accidents on the way to work = 0
Commute time = 2:05

hh:mm, sadly. It's only mm:ss when I'm telecommuting.

Mine was roughly the same, 2:20 with no accidents on the road. But only for a light drizzle.

New Englanders, apparently, are a cautious people.

I knew I was in trouble when it took me 30 minutes to crawl 1/2 miles between exits on the 85 this morning.

Best guess: a sudden rash of "illness." Probably everyone wanted to avoid the post-storm Monday traffic. ;)

So, you're going to pick me up around midnight, then?

(Seriously, they do like us to be gone by eight so they can lock up.)

The second day the cautiousness wares off and the accidents begin.
