Oh, good, I was going to ask if Iron Artist was still happening, but that answers my question! :) Saturday night as always...?
Indeed, indeed! Meet backstage at 9:00-9:15. Show starts at 9:30.
Glad to have you there, as always! :)
As did we. :) I'm interested in hearing your thoughts, though.
This year, Iron Artist is right after the Masquerade. So the plan is that the Masq judges go off and confer while we launch into IA. When IA is over and the judges have marked their cards, there's usually an awkward pause while we add up points.
So our plan is to announce the Masq awards during the IA show while we're totalling the judges' score cards. That should give us enough "cover time" to follow up with the IA results and do our awards.

Be wary, for thou shalt be glomped what savage badgerwise.
Because "savage badger" would be a great name for a rock band. [/davebarry]
But would they play in fursuits?
I'll sign up for artists of iron and workshops of roving imps and all what things like what that there all!
Yea! Always fun to have you around. ...And I still want to play Fluxx with you at some point.
I will have my deck with me!
Mmm, improv. You know, considering I've gone every year since 2000, I could probably even help run the darn thing one of these times. ;)
Don't say that too loudly or we might take you up on it!
Wish I could be there. *pout*
I look forward to seeing all the fun. Im especially looking forward to buying a copy of your book. Im curious which table this will be though? I know another friend whos into fursuiting asked me the same question. Im so making that beeline for the book when the dealers room opens. <=3
I'm glad you're so interested in the book! I hope it lives up to the expectations and proves a useful guide.
The book will be available on a half-table that is "Ibexa Press and Friends". Looking at the map
, I think it's against the left wall as you enter the room. It should be right next to someone with a massage chair.
You can also buy the book directly from me (and I'll sign it, too!).
Hello Nic.....I was wondering how I would be able to sign up for Iron Artist at FC...Ill be there on Wed,and I cant wait! Please email me with how i can challenge....
Thank you so much!
Signup forms for Iron Artist will be located at the Information Desk (which will be in the lobby, near Registration).
Complete the form and return it to the Info Desk. Challengers will be drawn randomly from all completed forms. The drawing is during the event, so there's no advance notice; show up in the audience and see if you get called.
look forward to meeting you in the fur i hear a great many great things
Wow, really? Well, it's always great to meet new friends. I look forward to it!
Iron Artist is always great fun! I'm looking forward to watching it!
(And, as I said, I'm honored to be a spare judge, if you need me.)
and would be honored if you autographed it....(grin)...
also, I'll be the one in a black coat laughing throughout Iron Artist (and trying to take better pictures than last year's!)...

Re: I want your book as well...
Sure thing! Catch me to buy a copy direct or you can find it in the Dealers Room. (Do you have a table in the Dealers Room? Maybe I should find you?)
we're in the southeast corner with Plan 9 and Susan Deer....I'll look for it! (also, I'll have candy and stuff---come on by if you need a sugar fix)
so i've ordered my copy of the book (from amazon. weee). once it gets here - could i interest you in signing it with a game night/dinner goodness? (after fc of course)
I'm sure we can work something out! It's been awhile since I had a chance to chat with ya.
Of course, you could always stop by FC and watch me and Brian freaking out on caffeine, stress, and improv... No, wait, you've seen that many times before, haven't you? ;)
hahaha... hmmmm.... tempting indeed! :-) where/when/how much is it anyhow?
good to know... although i have a feeling i'll be kitty sittin while you guys are fc'ing. :-)
I'd be better watching Iron Artist than being in it, every medium used oddly seems to be one that I do work with a lot (balloons, body paint, icing even hehehe) so I'd better not tempt fate.
Oh and... *noogies a rat!*
