Thankee! You rock. (More than the song, even.)
It's a decent song.. though the animation I'm afraid is pretty much lost on me. It doesn't really seem to have a point, and although I like weird, I like my weird to be more striking I guess.
It's full of what seems to be totally random references (some video game ones), as seen in the credits. But yeah, it doesn't seem to have a point.
Yeah, I have no idea what the point of it is. Strangeness. It's not quite good enough that I really like it but not quite stupid enough to revile... It's in web-link limbo.
A fanfic writer "reanimates" dead characters for whatever evil purposes the author intends. When you view it from that angle, it's actually a clever concept.
The song is apparently the only really good thing that came out of the Reanimator 3 DVD.
Maybe I should write fanfic, then :)
Strongbad email is so damm funny :)
Apparently the song is from a music video included as a bonus on the DVD release of "Beyond Re-Animator", a sequel to "Re-Animator".
Okay, now THAT's weird. They made a one-off eurodance track as a horror movie DVD extra????
It's actually kinda good, to boot.
Maybe the song was supposed to be in the movie but got bumped, or something.
Or maybe the song actually is in the movie and I don't know what I'm talking about because I haven't seen the movie.

I'll have to check my DVD. :)
UPDATE: OK, I've checked it. Suddenly the Flash video is a masterpiece.
Wait, that animation appears on the DVD? Or is the video different and this is a parody/recreation of it?

The video on the DVD is this god-awful movie tie-in with a Duran Duran-looking creep doing insipid dance moves with zombie mimes intercut with footage from the movie. The only reference to the original video in the flash version is the bit with the chalkboard.
"weird" is a polite way of putting it...
Hmmm... Perhaps I should read n's journal?

Holy crap... as I suspected, the lyrics are so bad they make my brain cry. But I like the song a lot -- if only it was in another language so I couldn't understand it. :)
Well, I wasn't really recommending one way or the other, just giving a link to an MP3 version of the song. I don't have a clue what the animation's trying to be, either, but I found the tune catchy enough that I was glad to have the MP3 version. :)
I think the idea was that the characters were all killed in their respective storylines and the reanimator brought them back to life. And, apparently, gave them jobs as backup dancers. :) Great music.
