Iron Artist VI

It is almost time for the annual event where, summoned by Chairman Seurat, the great artists of furry fandom gather together in a competition that will decide who gets the title of
"Iron Artist"

This will be our sixth event at Further Confusion and it looks like it will be exciting. I, commentator and assistant to our Chairman, have already purchased the art media. There is, at this very moment, a large pile of the "theme ingredient" sitting in my front hall...

Along with the box for signup forms. This will be at the Info Desk, near the registration area. Any and all FC attendees are welcome to sign up as Iron Artist Challengers! (No, previous participation in the event does not bar you from signing up again.) One of the highlights of the event is the drawing of random competitors to have an artistic showdown onstage. We will also be drawing someone to be one of the judges for the event.

Last year, all three of the Iron Artists defended their titles. Such a sweep has happened twice. And we've never had more than one challenger win in one year... Will this year's battle unseat multiple Iron Artists? Or will they defend their honorable positions once again?

Iron Artist Career Wins (year leaders in bold)
Artist (alphabetical) Iron Title 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005
Dye, Thomas K. Comics 00---
Groat, Jim Violence 11---
McAdam, Marci Cute 12-34
Robey, John "The Gneech" Comics ---12
Suzukawa, Vince Comics 1233-
Telgemeier, Amara "Ocelot" Spotty -1234

As you can see, last year's tournament produced a fourth career win for both Marci McAdam and Amara "Ocelot" Telgemeier! This surpasses the earlier highwater mark of three total wins set by Vince Suzukawa.

All three Iron Artists have agreed to return and take on whatever challenging media has been selected by Chairman Seurat... Will you join them?
