Taken from a classic Fleischer-animated Popeye (I used to tape them for Anna when Cartoon Network ran em waaaaaaaaaaay late). I like it because it's very versatile - I can use it to claim my own opposition to something, to point someone else out as a bully or harasser, or be ambiguious about who or what is the object of derision.
This one is just fun, and depending on context can either be arrogant or tongue in cheek.
Though a relatively recent one, I think this is one of the better pics I've ever taken, certainly one of the best pics of my ex the porn star.
Taken from one of my own artworks, one which several people have told me is the best I've ever done.
I have a county Vector Control Board magnet on my fridge for the same reason. :) They have this great rendering of a ratty sitting up and sniffing curiously! It makes no sense, since their job includes killing rats, that they would choose such an adorable pose.
This one, which I modified from a hamster drawn for me for heraldry purposes -- I love your SCA arms!! This icon was based on a drawing of the small animal used as a crest on the helm above the shield on my own arms (non-SCA; I may have skipped the helm altogether, can't recall right now). I requested a winged hamster, and the artist kindly provided a b&w which I airbrushed in a paint program.
savant_da_rat, my partner, is nuts about your Big Brother icon. You knew him in Fremont about eight years ago under a different name... :) He had a white rat at the time.
